Train to Fly at Aeropro
Our instructors deliver structured, safety-focused training designed to build confident, capable pilots. Start with a discovery flight and experience the AeroPro standard.
AEROPRO PILOT PATH
AeroPro offers structured pilot development programs designed for both recreational pilots and those pursuing a professional aviation career. Training takes place at Craig Field Airport (KSEM), a towered airport with open airspace and excellent weather conditions that support consistent flight training.
Programs include:
Discovery Flight
Private Pilot License
Instrument Rating
Commercial Pilot
Multi-Engine Rating
Certified Flight Instructor (CFI)
EXPERIENCE YOUR FIRST FLIGHT
A discovery flight is the first step in your aviation journey. During this one-hour introductory flight, you’ll sit in the cockpit with a certified instructor and experience what it’s like to fly an aircraft.
If you decide to continue training, this flight counts as your first logged training hour toward your Private Pilot License.
BECOME A PRIVATE PILOT
The Private Pilot License (PPL) is the foundation of all aviation training. During this program you will learn navigation, aircraft systems, flight operations, and safety procedures required to operate an aircraft independently.
FAA requirements include a minimum of 40 hours of flight time, though many students complete training closer to 50 hours.
Training includes:
Flight instruction with a certified instructor
Cross-country flight training
Instrument training
Night flight operations
Solo flight experience
Practical test preparation
Average Cost:
$13,500 – $18,000 depending on training hours required.
ADVANCE YOUR TRAINING
Instrument Rating
Learn to safely operate aircraft in instrument meteorological conditions and develop advanced navigation skills.
Typical training requires:
40 hours of instrument training
Cross-country flight time as pilot in command
Multiple instrument approach procedures.
Estimated Cost
$10,500 – $15,000.
Commercial Pilot License
The Commercial Pilot License allows you to operate aircraft professionally and be compensated for flight services.
Requirements include:
250 total flight hours
Advanced flight maneuvers and cross-country operations
Instrument and complex aircraft training.
Multi-Engine Rating
Develop the skills required to safely operate twin-engine aircraft including:
Engine-out procedures
Advanced aircraft systems
Multi-engine flight operations.
Estimated Cost
$10,000 – $15,000.
Certified Flight Instructor (CFI)
Many pilots build flight hours by becoming instructors. The CFI program prepares pilots to teach aviation fundamentals and flight operations.
Estimated Cost
$6,500 – $8,000.
